Many people feel they have too much to do. When you then see them working, you find them in the middle of one thing suddenly doing something else that caught their attention. The alert on the cell phone, the incoming email, a random thought, or just a ‘shiny object’ coming along. These distractions all together take a lot of time and energy. Prevent them in the first place, put your cell phone away, define your timeslots for emails and other communication. Refocus on your task at hand as soon as you caught yourself drifting away. Give yourself time for traction, stay the course!

Behavior vs. Intention
In leadership and teamwork, we often judge others by what we see—their behavior.
