We get a lot of feedback, some is more formal other more casual and unsolicited. Positive feedback feels good but what if it is rather critical or negative? You’re too emotional, not decisive enough, too dominant. It is uncomfortable! In particular, when the feedback seems to be unjustified, we often react spontaneously and defend ourselves. Next time take a deep breath and ask questions to understand. Your behavior is seen by the other person most likely didn’t match your intentions. You can change it and improve the impression that you make!
