Balanced Competencies

What is better: candor or diplomacy? The answer depends on the context, and in truth, both are indispensable for success. Although candor and diplomacy may appear to be opposing states, we need a blend of both. Some of us gravitate towards candor, while others favor diplomacy, often considering it part of their personal brand. However, leaning too heavily towards one end of the spectrum may no longer yield favorable outcomes. Excessive candor can alienate, while excessive diplomacy may convey indecisiveness. Be mindful, our strengths can also be our weaknesses!
