Motivation

You want your people to go above and beyond. You cannot motivate anyone to do anything. But you can create an environment that invites. This can look very different person by person. To assign the same project, you might need to say to one candidate ‘nobody has ever done this before’, to another ‘you’ll have to lead 10 people as your project team’ and to someone else ‘you can work on your own terms, all we need are results’. Think about yourself ! Job fit is not only a question of competence. The more your job requires what drives you forward, the better you will do it !
