Your business runs like a well-oiled machine, the numbers are looking great. Everything seems so easy, you’re thrilled. Enjoy this wonderful experience and keep your feet on the ground. Stay alert, it’s very unlikely that all aspects of business are great at the same time. You’re not invincible. Remain thorough in your planning, your execution, your debriefs. Consider inviting somebody to be the devil’s advocate to keep your optimism realistic. Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer. Stay humble!
