Brainstorming

Group brainstorming is a common practice to generate creative and innovative ideas. But does it really work ? Be honest ! The rule of the game is to generate as many as possible ideas and refrain from criticism during the exercise. But in reality, some people quickly worry about others judging their ‘crazy’ ideas or they feel less competent and go on silent mode. Here is what you can do instead: Start with an individual brainstorming, refine, and combine ideas in smaller groups before you finish the exercise with the entire team. It’s a simple but powerful modification, enjoy the outcome !
