Where there are teams, there are conflicts. We need conflicts. They are opportunities to improve our collaboration and they can lead to better solutions. And still, we resist these difficult discussions. We are biologically wired to get along with our teammates and we fear their possible emotional reactions. Lean into the conflict anyway. Listen to your colleagues, their ideas might be better. Be prepared to take multiple rounds, it’s a creative process.
