You are committed, you want to do an excellent job. At the same time, you are worried that something could go wrong. You don’t want to look foolish in front of others, you don’t want them to think poorly about you. Really? Do you believe everybody else is perfect? We all make mistakes. As soon as you notice yours, be open about them. Own them! Others will appreciate your honesty, they will rather respond with constructive support than with malicious joy. People hold you in high regard for the great work you do, take the risk that sometimes something goes wrong!
