As a leader you are in the spotlight, in good times and even more in bad times. Your people are observing you, every single step you take. The look on your face, the tone of your voice, your mood, the actions you take, the way you treat your colleagues. They can tell more about you, than you about them. Fill the stage given to you with integrity. Explain why you do what you do, it avoids rumors to spread. Be predictable, say what you know, and whatnot. Communicate consistently, even if you don’t have news.
