It happens all too often. We’re dealing with mediocre performance or imperfect processes until we have enough or see a better solution. We then approach others, give them our point of view, and expect more or less an immediate change. But it takes two to tango. Listen to get the other party’s perspective, be aware of your common goal, and if necessary take a step back to win together in the long run. Relationship is of the essence!
