Trust is a key element of effective collaboration. But how can leaders establish a trusting environment? We can’t force anybody to trust us. It’s a feeling! What about making the first step as a leader? If joint values give guidance, you can assign projects to your team members. Explain them what you need and why it is important for you. Let them figure out how to do it. Don’t micromanage and be open for solutions that you didn’t expect as long as they do the trick. Sometimes you need to let go to bond!
