New Year, more meetings ? Our schedules are already plastered with them, avoiding us to execute, reflect and plan properly. If we spend too much time in meetings, we either need to work ridiculous hours or become irrelevant at some day. What can you do ? Agree with your colleagues on a simple rule: no meeting without agenda. Have a dedicated facilitator who keeps you on track and chatty people in check. Ask before you attend the next meeting what exactly you are supposed to contribute. Meetings are a wonderful opportunity to create value, make sure you do !
