Present Mind

LeaderTrip's Coaching Present Mind

Shortly after you have said or done something, you realize that you made a mistake. You think you have offended others, you have left others with a bad impression of yourself. You begin to ruminate and come up with great ideas on how you could have done better in this situation. Stop right there! If you really harmed somebody, apologize sincerely. After that, let the past be the past! The next time your mind wanders back to this old incident, just recognize it, don’t blame yourself, and gently push your thought away. Your attention is needed where you are, in the present moment!
