Is the purpose of your role clearly defined? How do you serve it? If your job becomes a patchwork of various tasks and you constantly do little favors here and there, chances are that you will not leave visible footprints behind. You’re basically everything to everybody. Don’t go with the flow, put your foot on the ground! You can take the initiative.
