Respond not only to their big achievements but also to their attitude and how they cope with the mundane challenges of their roles. Leave a note on their desk, say it in public or private, give this sincere pat on the shoulder or sometimes just that wholehearted smile, but don’t miss to say ‘Thank You!’ Nothing encourages more than that!
