New Team

LeaderTrip's Coaching New Team

When a team is not functioning very well the expectations are high on the new leader coming in. What is your approach to stepping into such a position? Don’t rush into action! Take sufficient time to talk with everybody on the team, listen to their side of the story. You can speak the truth once you got a solid overview, challenge the team with your first-hand observations. It might be tough, but people will take it, follow you, change their way of working if there is no doubt that you are entirely in and committed to work with the team and bring it back on track.
